It was my son's wedding, and we were all thrilled with the beautiful bride he chose. She was very sweet, smart, and cheerful. We immediately welcomed her into our family.

Before meeting her, my son led a wild life: always drinking, couldn't hold a job for long, refused to move out of our house. But she changed him.

The only person against this wedding was my wife. She constantly pointed out any mistake the girl made, even minor ones. We couldn't understand what the problem was, as my son's girlfriend was golden.

On the day of the wedding, my wife was drinking one glass of champagne after another. And when the ceremony began, and the priest asked if anyone objected to this marriage, my wife suddenly said, "I object!"

It turned out that when I was serving in the army, she cheated on me and got pregnant. She gave the child up for adoption, and when my son brought his bride home, she recognized her by a birthmark on her cheek.

She had hoped until the last moment that the wedding wouldn't happen and no one would find out that the bride and groom were siblings.

The bride was shocked but said it was impossible because recently she and her mom decided to take a DNA test, and it confirmed they were related.

2. At the Catholic Wedding, It Turned out the Bride Wasn't as Innocent as She Seemed

Once I attended the wedding of my ex-boyfriend's sister. The wedding was very restrained, with few guests - only family and close friends. But the bride wore a gorgeous, lavish dress with a skirt starting right from her chest.

The groom's family were conservative Catholics, adhering to old traditions, no sex before marriage, etc. They praised the bride so much it bored me to tears.

She was considered very proper, religious, and innocent by them.

The groom's family believed the couple only went on innocent dates, and the bride lived with her brother (but I knew that wasn't true, as I lived with her brother then). That's why this innocent image she created irritated me.

But during the groom's parents' toast (again praising the bride's innocence), the bride's water broke. She was pregnant! Now that lavish dress made sense.

3. The Priest Ruined My Uncle's Wedding

At my uncle's wedding, the wedding ceremony was very short, all because of the priest. It all started when the priest went outside to the bride and said there was no time for her to walk slowly to the altar.

He LITERALLY took her by the elbow, pulled her away from her father, and dragged her inside the church. He didn't deliver any speeches, no words of guidance, absolutely nothing.

The priest immediately moved on to the part where the couple had to say "I do." But that was just the beginning.

The priest interrupted speeches by aggressively snapping his fingers, saying that's enough. He skipped all the songs that were supposed to be played at the ceremony.

He even dismissed the choir that was supposed to sing the couple's song, constantly stating there was no time for that. The priest rushed all the guests who approached to congratulate the couple, telling them to do it later.

The bride's father approached the priest indignantly demanding an explanation of what was happening. But the priest just told everyone to leave the church. He kicked us out of the church, and when we got outside, people froze in their tracks.

I walked through the crowd to see what was happening. And, OH MY GOD! Right in front of the church entrance lay a dead body in an open coffin. About 100 people were shoving the coffin and crying.

It turned out the priest had confused the hours and scheduled a funeral almost at the same time as the wedding ceremony. That's why now in all the wedding photos of my uncle, there's either a corpse or people in black crying by the church.

4. The Groom Turned out to Be a Complete Jerk

It was a lavish, luxurious wedding of a wealthy family, but the groom lived in another state, so I had to pick him up from the airport.

I immediately noticed how poorly he treated the airline staff when he shoved a flight attendant because she was blocking his way.

He also treated me disrespectfully, throwing his bags at me and ordering me to be more careful with them.

Throughout the journey, he told me I was nobody and mocked me for working as a driver at my age (I'm 56).

When we finally arrived, the bride ran into his arms. The groom couldn't wait to meet her parents. I approached them, extended my hand to him, and calmly said, "I'm the bride's father, nice to meet you." You should have seen his face at that moment!

5. I Accidentally Ruined My Best Friend's Wedding

It was my friend's wedding, and after the main ceremony, we went to celebrate at the groom's parents' house. She was very worried that Carl, the groom's twin brother, would ruin the wedding because he didn't have a very good reputation. I said I would keep an eye on him.

At the groom's parents' house, we all changed into casual clothes, and Carl decided it would be funny to dress just like the groom.

It annoyed me, and I was about to send him back to change, but when I saw the positive reaction from the guests, I calmed down.

6. My Sister Decided to Test My Fiancé's Loyalty

My younger sister, Ashley, studies in another country, so she hadn't met my future husband until our wedding day. When Ashley met him, she suggested testing his loyalty to me.

You see, Ashley is very attractive, I even envied her once, with her voluptuous figure, slim waist, and flirting - it's her native language, plus she's smart, and every guy she knew would do anything for a night with her.

7. I Called off the Wedding When I Found out Who My Fiancé Really Was

My mom hadn't met my fiancé until the day of the wedding. She lived abroad at the time and rarely visited.

12. My Friend Paid the Price for Demanding Presents from Guests at His Wedding

I received an invitation to my friend's wedding, and I was really surprised because my friend wasn't even dating anyone. Turns out, he was marrying a girl he'd known for THREE DAYS!!!

The wedding invitation was also very strange, in bold letters it stated that entry to the wedding was only from $500 or with a gift worth that amount or more.

I didn't have the money then; my ex-wife was taking all my salary for child support. But it was my best friend's wedding after all. So I pawned some valuables and got the required amount.

When my friend was already tipsy, he took me aside to tell me the "secret." He confessed that he and the "bride" staged a fake wedding to make money because they both were in debt.

There wasn't even an official marriage registration. I waited until my friend finished this conversation, silently approached the gift table, and loaded as much as my old car could carry.

Once I had a job - organizing weddings. One time, I was at a fancy wedding where the couple were the "power couple" of two respectable families but they turned out to be very nice and friendly people.

But when I entered her house, I froze. She was having sex on the couch with MY FIANCE!!!

23. There Were 6 Brides at My Wedding

I was on cloud nine with happiness standing at the altar with my groom. But as I finished my vows, we heard the sound of an engine outside, and then through the open doors, we saw a limousine.

One by one, five girls in wedding dresses stepped out. I didn't understand what was happening, but the look on my groom's face told me he knew these women. Each of them held a big bag in their hands.

I yelled, "Who are you and what does this mean?"

But I didn't hear any answers. Instead, one of them shoved me aside. I was outraged by this behavior!

But she said I wouldn't want to "be caught in the crossfire." Then she added that my groom had organized five weddings in the past month (ours being the sixth) and then just took the gifts and disappeared.

They opened their bags, and I saw there were balls filled with something. Then one of them shouted, "These are the only balls you'll ever have!" And they all started pelting my groom with these balls. I smelled a strong odor and realized what was inside these balls - shit. My groom stood there covered in shit. What did I do? I joined in with the girls)))

24. My Granddaughter Didn't Invite Me to Her Wedding, but I Decided to Go Anyway

I was heartbroken when my granddaughter, for whom I sacrificed everything, didn't invite me to her wedding. Despite that, I decided I had the right to be there, especially since I had a gift for her that I prepared when she was little.

I was at my cousin's wedding, the main part of which took place in a hotel.

When someone accidentally knocked over the alcohol stand, I figured it was a good opportunity to quietly smoke in the restroom (non-smoking wedding).

I went into the restroom (which was shared) and smoked by the vent when I heard someone entering the adjacent stall and starting to have sex.

I quickly put out my cigarette and waited for them to finish so that no one would find out it was me smoking. When they were done, I cracked the door open slightly to make sure the couple had left. To my surprise, I saw the groom and his father-in-law coming out of the restroom.

28. The Rich Groom Turned out to Be a Regular Plumber

I'm a professional bridesmaid, meaning brides hire me to be their bridesmaid at their weddings. Once, a very wealthy woman hired me.

She told me about her millionaire groom who showered her with gifts. I was happy for her because I hadn't been that lucky with men. And I couldn't wait to see this "prince charming."

I found out that my mother-in-law was planning to come to the wedding in a wedding dress a week before the wedding. That's when I got an idea of how I could get back at her and make a fool out of her.

30. His Ex Ruined Our Ceremony

It's a bit of a weird situation, but my fiancé is friends with his ex. They've been friends since childhood and tried dating in college, but it didn't work out, so they decided to just remain friends.

I trust my husband-to-be, so I didn't mind when he asked if he could invite her to the wedding (especially since she was married and eight months pregnant). But when the priest said, "If anyone here objects to this marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace," his ex hesitantly stood up.
